Warranty, Preventative Maintenance and Uptime Guarantee

Every Satcon inverter comes with a standard 5 year warranty which is extendable up to 20 years with 5 year increments. The preventative maintenance plan provides scheduled semi–annual and annual inspections, checks and measurements for each inverter.

Upon the purchase of a selected Preventative Maintenance Plan (PM), customers may further acquire Satcon’s 99% UpTime Guarantee. This guarantee is for any portion of daylight hours for which the inverter is not delivering power due to a failure caused by the inverter itself, the system owner will be compensated for the kWh that would have been delivered by a fully functional inverter. Based on a total of 4,380 daylight hours/year, the inverter may be down due to inverter failure for a maximum of 44 daylight hours/year with a 99% UpTime Guarantee.
